Eczema herpeticum
Eczema herpeticum is herpes simplex virus spreading in areas of a pre-existing dermatologic condition, most commonly atopic dermatitis. Eczematous patches can be seeded with the virus, causing a generalized cutaneous herpes simplex infection.
